Normally it is just simply a case of choosing the News Media theme from your theme viewer in RapidWeaver. RapidWeaver will convert your existing pages to use the new theme. Custom CSS and other code can sometimes be successfully transferred between themes, but it is important to remember that News Media will be using different source code to other themes.

If you have previously been using Extra Content, you may need to adjust the container names to get content into the correct containers. When you change themes, it is highly recommended you mark all pages in your project as changed and publish your site again. Although this may take a while to upload, it is the best way to ensure old ‘orphaned’ files from previous themes are replaced with new files.
