Because this theme uses Javascript for the Extra Content, search bar, style switcher and other functions, it is important people visiting your site have Javascript enabled. A large majority of people using the internet will have Javascript, it is almost impossible to navigate the internet without Javascript nowadays! For people who don’t have Javascript, a message will be displayed at the top of the page in red which reads:

“Your browser does not support Javascript or you have Javascript turned off. Some parts of this page may not function properly as a result.”

You can change this message by opening the theme contents and opening the index.html file in a code editor. Scroll down to the point where you see the section commented “No javascript alert”. Style controls for this message can be found in the styles.css file under the noscript selector. Rest assured, people who visit your website with a Javascript-enabled web browser will see no warning message displayed.
