Auto-scrolling horizontal navigation bar
One of the limitations with horizontal menu bars is that it can be difficult to fit all the links onto single lines. This is particularly a problem if your site has a number of parent (top level) links or your site has navigation links which are quite long. To reduce this problem, News Media has a clever horizontal navigation bar which can scroll horizontally to reveal more links.
Under normal circumstances, the menu functions like a normal horizontal menu. But if the page links start to span outside of the horizontal menu, the theme will automatically switch on the auto-scrolling function. Simply hovering a mouse curser over the navigation bars and moving the mouse curser left or right will automatically scroll the menu bar, enabling other links to come into view and be clicked.
Optionally under the miscellaneous theme settings, there is a setting to display arrows on the left and right side of the horizontal menu bar. This can be used to give indication to site visitors that your menu can scroll horizontally. These images used in the buttons are stored in the theme contents within images/editable_images/ folder. Each button is a single PNG image which can be customised.
